When to have it checked

Your windshield does more than keep wind and rain out: it is part of your vehicle’s safety system. The correct glass, adhesive and installation procedure matter, especially on vehicles with cameras or driver-assistance features.

  • A long crack, edge damage or several damaged areas
  • Damage that interferes with a clear view of the road
  • Glass damage that cannot be safely repaired

Repair or replacement?

We review the location, depth and extent of the damage before recommending replacement. Tell us about rain sensors, a camera behind the rearview mirror, heads-up display or other windshield options. Camera-equipped vehicles may require calibration; ask how that requirement will be addressed for your vehicle.

For a quote, have your vehicle year, make and model ready, along with the affected side or panel and your service ZIP code. We confirm the recommended work and available parts before scheduling.

What the work involves

  1. 01

Confirm the windshield specification and inspect the surrounding frame.

  2. 02

Remove the damaged glass and prepare the bonding surface.

  3. 03

Install the replacement with the appropriate adhesive and check the fit and finish.

  4. 04

Explain safe drive-away time, aftercare and any vehicle-specific calibration needs.

Before & after your visit

Do not drive until the technician’s stated safe drive-away time. That time depends on adhesive and conditions, not just when installation ends. Follow instructions about retention tape, car washes and door closing; report any new wind noise or leaks.

Insurance & workmanship

We offer a lifetime warranty on labor and workmanship. If you plan to use insurance, mention it when calling; coverage and deductibles depend on your policy and insurer.

Does my windshield camera need calibration?

Some vehicles require camera calibration after windshield replacement. Let us know about your driver-assistance features when requesting a quote so the requirements can be discussed.

Can I drive immediately after installation?

Not necessarily. The adhesive needs time to reach the required strength. Your technician will provide the safe drive-away instructions for your installation.
